Hello Friends,
I have certain queries regarding the Crawl Stats of google webmaster:
1. What is the relationship between 'Kilobytes downloaded per day' and 'Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds)'. Is it an inverse relationship or a directly propotional relationship, or there is just some vague co-relation between them?
2. Does a drop in 'Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds)' curve indictaes that the server of the website is not able to handle high traffic?
Would appreciate any help on this matter.

No real direct relationship. Kilobytes downloaded per day refers to how much infomation is downloaded from your site. Actually it's a little more specific than that. It refers to how much content is accessed on your page it day
The time spent downloading a page depends on how fast your pages load. If your pages are laden with a lot of graphics and stuff then it takes more time

I would put too much emphasis on the download time of your pages, unless you have a lot of information on them, then I may be concerned. Other than that webmaster tools and graphs are awesome!

Yes, definitely Google webmaster graphs are confusing as they holds a lot of data inside it. If you can understand the graphs you will be able to optimize your site more efficiently.
