Guess PR update is coming up.

I am guessing PR update is coming up. Noticed that Google updated link count in webmaster central. Hope it's a good one.
I know many people say that PR don't matter, but I've been doing this long enough to know better.
What are Your hopes for this one?

You are right, but pagerank does not mean that you have good SERPs. It is just one of the 200 factors that google use to rank a site

I think a PR update is due but I've not yet seen any signs of it taking place.

PR is eye cacthing, that's why ppl love to watch it

Having good page rank does not ensure your site is high up in the search engine results page. Still, it doesn't hurt to hope.

Last December 31 Google has updated some of the site and I am glad that two of my NA blogs becomes PR1 now so I guess I need to do more stuff in order to increase PR ranking

I've my PR jump from 0 to 2, I always thought that PR goes in sequence?

Google last update was done on April 1st, 2010 and I have earned PR1 for my site.
