Just wondering if you think it's worth upgrading from Adobe Photoshop CS3 to CS4 just to have something to write off tax?

I think Adobe photoshop cs4 is much more better then cs4 because some new plug-ins are only available in cs4 not in cs3.

I think that we  transfer to the new version because it is cheaper to pay the upgrade, but miss him, and later pay the full cost of the new version, when the need becouse we transfer to new OS or  a cessation of support for the old version.
I do not see any other operational or functional important reasons to move to a new version of.

I have CS3 as well. I love it!

The only reason I can see to upgrade is:
-cs4 is using your graphics card's GPU to render to the image you're seeing
-because of this it should work faster and smoother
-this is particularly noticeable when zooming in/out with the scroll wheel of your mouse
-the GUI/HMI is slightly different, should be cleaner and more straight forward
-there are some cool new features but they aren't exciting for aviation photo editing (e.g. context aware resizing)

I'd say unless you can get a really good deal on CS4 stick with CS3.

Definitely i rate CS4 is better in terms of many plugins and other things that were not in CS3 version although it is difficult to understand in start but good enough.
