Twitter is a social media tool, and it can't really help you with seo, but it can help you promoting a site if you have enough followers

I would say that twitter is a powerful Micro BLogging tool. And I say micro blogging because you can use it to share news and information, much like a blog does, but the characters are limited and you dont have to write a 100 word article in order to participate.

It is also a very powerful marketing tool in the sense that a lot of people are already joining it, and as far as targeted market is concern, there are a lot of them that use twitter so better take advantage.

To get followers, you have to make friends with other members and it usually starts with following them as well. Retweeting their post will make them notice you more also, so you might want to do that. Once you get the hang of it, try to make interesting post  and you will drive automatic followers for that.

Once you get a bunch of followers, you ca take advantage of it and twit what oyu want them to see. This means your sites, new posts, or anything.

Twitter is a social network. It is good as a broadcast medium.

You can drive traffic by getting followers and friends.

I haven't used twitter for seo purposes. I did use it to promote a few products that I was working on, other than that I guess you could add a link in your profile page.

Hey homie,

For Twitter all you gotta do is follow people and most will follow you back. Then you tweet(write) to your followers. And retweet(rewrite) what they tweet.

If you want to take it one step further don't follow anyone. Build your following through the hard work of promoting your Twitter account

Hope that helps.

God bless

Yes, the social networking sites can be a big help in bring traffic to your site almost instantly! The only thing is you havento have a decent size following before you really see the true benefits. This is when you have to put in hard work to build your social networking accounts. Once you build them to a certain extend they pretty much build themselves after that as long as you keep providing quality information.

Twitter is a Social Media Communication tool to interact with people, and promote your brand or website online.

The more popular your website (or its link) is on twitter, the better rankings your website would get on Search Engines. Google and Bing take into consideration your website popularity on twitter while computing its Search Engine rankings.

Well if you know the concept of Facebook status then you will not have a problem in understanding twritter you just have to post what you think interesting at first to get followers then later on by time you can promote your websites and products to get sales.
