The baidu spider has been coming recently. It's odd though because its a chinese engine. Since it's coming I might as well try to get good SERPs with it.
Anyone have any advice?

I have mentioned that too.
Actually when it visits this site is shown in the who is online list, but it is allways spidering the home page only.

It only spidered my homepage as well, but that was probably due to it being the first visit.

Just as an update, it came again. But still only hit the mainpage.

I don't know ho useful being spidered by a Chinese search engine would be. Well, unless your site was aimed at that demographic...
But really now, chinese traffic is probably the worst kind of traffic (in terms of conversions. No ad network pays for this kind of traffic, so you normally come out at a loss - bandwidth gets burned up, but there's no money in return to cover the costs...).
Doh~

Well, if it brings traffic, all the better.
