Search this at google :

Quote
google is trying to take over the world

We get first placement, and I actually can't find the reason for this.

Propably the filename modification is working....

According to overture no one searches for that, but very cool nonetheless.

My health site gets traffic from keywords such as "i drink 1/2 pint vodka per day" or "avatars 200x200"  so its not that incredibly weird

Overture gives queries for their ads.

About those strange things, I think that you have to investigate them.

In this case the result is 1st from 40 million pages. There must be a reason for this, and if you can find it, you will be a rich man very soon...

I'm 10000% certain that its because of this:

<meta name="description" content="Off topic : Google is trying to take over the world ( Microsoft style) - Webdigity webmaster forums" />

Your discription matches the url keywords perfectly.

Do they have a script like this for phpbb for any chance?

No I've added this myself, but anyway Google uses the meta description only for the listing of the site. They do not use this information as keyword.

search for "google is trying to take over the world" on the page that gets listed by google, the exact phrase is on the page 7 times + in the header. This adds relevance to the page for that search

i think this is a post from webdigity from a while ago, about taking over the world. google must of picked up on this, and was really interested and decided to rank us 1 to show everyone else.

Yes. There are many queries that I get first placement, but this one had a lot of competition.
