Hi,

Difference Between .COM, .NET, And .ORG Domain Names.

.COM is used for commercial and personal sites.
.NET is usually recommended for companies involved in Internet infrastructure.
.ORG is recommended for Non Profit organizations.

Importance Of Domain Names.

However, there are some similarities in hosting the three domain names:

One can use only letters, numbers, or hyphen ("-") as characters for the site

The domain name cannot begin or end with a hyphen
Two hyphens cannot be used together
The domain name must have less than 63* characters, not including .COM, .NET and .ORG

there are also other local-based domain extensions like .us .ca .uk .cn .au so on and so forth

just have proper choices.

The difference between is a popularity of extensions, the most popular is .com, then .net

There is a huge difference within the  different domain extensions. Majority people buy .com domain as i too love to  buy as it universal accepted extensions.

.COM commercial and personal sites (used majorilly) .NET are the extension which are not used normally to get hight ranked for the competative .com domains the are basically used for those where they are not getting .com  and lastly .ORG or .NIC are the organization website which are used with the organization part.

.com .net make same difference just you need to pay attention towards web 2.0 that help you website performance to get revenue

As far as ranking goes they all rank well.  In fact, all domain extensions rank well.  I know a .biz, .tv and .be that ranks for competitive terms.

OK, you mean to say com. means company, net. means?  internet , ORG?  means?  organization hope so i am getting right meaning if i am wrong please give me more details of this 3 word .COM, .NET and .ORG .

The .Com is the best, from my point of view. I always had problems ranking the other domain names!

They are almost same .. but do contain some difference...
.COm is d best ... because every layman initally type .com instead of .net or .org!!

It has different extensions

.com for common
.in india
.org for organization

.net for network in this way you find different doamins
