Have you tried adwords? I know it is not free, but I don't think that an eshop can be viable without some advertising

Find all the forums that are even remotely related to your site. Even forums that have the same demographic audience your niche has. Get the owners details via whois/contact details. Offer to buy banner on their sites. If your lucky, they will have no clue and you'll be able to grab some amazing prices for the banner space. Forums are great for banners as they get massive repeat viewings and if you can work a sponsorship deal with the forum as well... well, guaranteed sales.

Dear, I think you are talking about free classified ads sites. As your website is about e commerce, you can submit your deals on those ad sites but these ad sites cannot give you enough results in terms of traffic. If you want to generate some good traffic, then I will suggest you to join some social networks sites.

you need $$ to advertise otherwise you can use SEO and optimize each product category individually, which will take you hours every day.. but its worth it.. if you invest 3 months of full time work you could generate pretty ok money.. then ,maybe in a year you get better income.. like $400 - 500K per year.

search for ad posting websites... some of them allows you to post the link as well with the ad.... just search classified ads website on google and you will get millions of those... but I would not recommend you those as those are time taking and will not give you results and forums and other methods told you by other members above...

Get involved in the forums and establish yourself as an expert in your niche. This alone will help drive traffic to your site.

There are different way to get into it as plenty of websites take these websites offer, if you wanted to improve your visibility you can do one thing that you can find some reviewer who can review your website with the  content on different websites .That will improve your visibility as well in that networks.

I will recommend you to focus on social bookmarking. I never find a better way other than social bookmarking to increase traffic.

Social marketing,
Social networking,
Social bookmarking,
Adwords, PPC,
Ad banners
Choose anything, that suits to your budget and business needs.
It works.
If you are busy with your store, hire a professional. So, you can focus on developing the products/content.
