It doesn't matter. What matters for adsense is probably the theme you will use and the ad positioning but as I've said this has nothing to do with the cms you will use.

Wordpress is pretty effective as a CMS these days, and will probably give you good results with attracting visitors to your site, and to your Adsense ads, as long as you keep adding original content. The search engines seem to like blogs, and Wordpress has many features and mods to make it easy to attract traffic.

Yes but Wordpress is for blogs mainly. If you would like to haev a website of any different kind you should bee looking rather at some other places - Joomla or Drupal or anything other.

I don't think so that the success of adsense depends upon any kind cms.

Content Management System is the collection of procedures used to manage work flow in a collaborative environment These procedures can be manual or computer-based. The procedures are designed to:

    * Allow for a large number of people to contribute to and share stored data
    * Control access to data, based on user roles. User roles define what information each user can view or edit
    * Aid in easy storage and retrieval of data
    * Reduce repetitive duplicate input
    * Improve the ease of report writing
    * Improve communication between users

Web Content Management System gives most of the results with ad sense to simplify the publication of web content to web sites and mobile services.In particular allowing content creators to submit content with out requiring technical knowledge of HTML or the uploading of files.Most system use a database to store content, metadata, or artifacts that might be needed by the system. Content is frequently, but not universally, stored as XML, to facilitate reuse, and enable to flexible presentation options.

CMS does not play any role in the adsense. I think, the theme and place used for adsense really matters.
