I used to write a lot at sitepoint and that's the main reason I made this forum

Hehe. I am not going to sell the forum, but you can allways can create a subforum here having the 50% of the ad space.

*sigh* I wish i own a forum in future.

You know if i become partner with this forum, I will get new skin created for the forum, which will be much interactive and good looking .. Also, i would extent the forum shop .. visitors will be able to sell thier stuff for credits and vice versa .. there will be mini auction area which will deal with this credit money .. meanwhile i will decrease credits per post .. and thread, 10 per thread sounds alot to me. lolz..

moreover, i will change some navigation of sub-forums .. will me much like sitepoint .. will have dedicated sections for each topic ...

By the way those ideas are great, and I am thinking to make something simmilar later this year when I will be less busy than I am now.

About the user items in the shop it can be done after contacting with me. Meth0d has one item of his own in the shop right now.

moreover, i understand you are not selling 50% partnership .. but are if you were, how much you would weight full forum, in terms of $$? Just curious!!!

if you want to run a forum, just get a host with mysql and php capabilities and have phpbb installed, personally, you can host with me and ill set up the forum for you and let you run with it for free.

Basically hosting is not the main problem .. big problem is kickstarting a forum .. thats really a hard hard job, moreover i cant give alot of time to my online world .. i am part part time webmaster. So running a forum can only be the dream.

only a dream if you dont try. if u try it can be a reality. with links on sleekpixel and topsites your guaranteed a PR of at least 4 or 5, giving you high rankings on google. submit your site to other directories (leetlink.com, etc) as well as search engines like yahoo and google, make contests, ad share, etc like this forum. ppl will come

iwebtool.com sells links on each page for 5-10$ each month, but not a lifetime like mine. my site and topsites are the only ones i know of worth spending money on
