« on: May 09, 2006, 01:01:30 PM »

Hello,

I created a small link directory for a website thats already indexed by Google:
http://www.buitenspelen.eu/links.php Visit through proxy
the categories was at that moment
like /links.php?cat=3

a few days I modified the script to accept more seo friendly link like
http://www.buitenspelen.eu/links/speeltoestellen Visit through proxy

this was some days before...
sinds today all the pages are indexed, but with the querystring based url's.

I have also a sitemap with only the seo friendly links.

so whats happend, was google to fast?

and there something I can do?

The only thing you can do is 301 redirect the old pages to the new one.

Even if you don't do that there wont be any problem, but this will make the proccess faster.

That's no problem at all. If you redirect them, the index will still have them, but the SERPs will have the good links only.
